Santa Cruz Skateboards has been running since 1973, when Californian surfers Richard Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman turned spare fibreglass into skateboards. It's the oldest continuously running skateboard company in the world, and that screaming hand logo remains one of the most recognised in the sport.
