Where did Decimal come from?!I grew up in Lechlade, a small town in Gloucestershire where i started skating as a kid, at the time there was only two of us skating and spent hours at our local curb, with soap and wax :) When we were 16 we managed to get the council to back us in providing us with a skatepark, a few months on we were the proud owners of Bendecrete's first concrete park in the UK, even had a picture of a frontside nollie over the hip in sidewalk and for a couple of years we were graced with the presence of skaters from around the UK, including regulary Paul Carter and SS20 lot.
At the age of 18 I moved to Coventry where i was fortunate to get a job in a local skateshop and spent the next 5 years working and skating with local COV heads, even driving a minibus every other week to Radlands (R.I.P) or Epic.
In 2004 i moved home, where i found Gloucestershire still had no independant skateshop supporting the scene, so after a stint of 'picking and packing' i quit to set up Decimal in 2005.
Decimal although young as a 'SOS' it has achieved a lot in those years, supporting the scene, pressuring councils for skateparks and now skatebook. None of which would of be achievable without the overwhelming support that i have had from local skaters, family and friends.....You know who you are....Peace n shit...Gaz :)
